Black shoes crunched against the cold stoney surface of the pavement as he made his way towards the cinema, head down and looking at the ground. His hands were in the pockets of his rough looking black jacket as he went, clutching a packet of cigerettes in one hand and the other clutching some cocane. He pushed them deep into the bottom of his pockets with his grubby hands and then took his hands out to open the cinema door which he did pretty slowly. He looked up and his cold eyes glanced around, looking out for anyone he might know, but it was unlikely there was going to be anyone seeing as he didn't even know anyone round here. He shrugged and carried on, heading towards the desk where a woman sat ready to recieve booking for the films. He pulled his scarf up so it covered his chin a bit more and flicked his medium length brown hair across one eye with a shake of his head.
Once he got to the desk he sighed and looked up at the movies available to watch, none really taking his fancy, but he was bored so he'd watch just about anything. He felt like something scary, although they never were actually scary to him, but anyway. He decided to go see Land of the dead and leant onto the desk a bit closer to the woman sitting behind it, "can I have one ticket to go see Land of the dead please" he spoke in an uncaring voice. She handed him over the ticket quickly and he just took it out of her hand and walked away, but realising he'd forgotten to pay and the woman seemes to be calling security so he turned round and gave her the money out of his wallet. He turned round once more and headed over to the popcorn stand, getting in the que and waiting boredly to make it to the front. Life was going to be terribly boring for him here if he didn't actually meet anyone.....

"How long does it fucking take to get me some Popcorn?" Evane asked as she sighed, clearly frustrated. What seemed like hours passed when finally her Popcorn arrived. Evane grabbed it and gave the guy a dirty look. "Thanks jackass." She said rudely before walking off, stopping near a boy in line. "These idiots take forever." She said to him, looking over at the guy at the desk.

Dan heard a bit of commotion coming from infront of him and looked up from staring at the drink stained carpet below him to see what was going on. His gaze spotted a girl at the front of the line getting a little frustrated with the popcorn guy, well a little was just a bit of an understatement. Who could blame her though? This guy was taking all day, but Dan didn't like to make a big thing about it, he'd quietly speak to him when he got to the front which seeme dlike it would never happen and he was bored stiff waiting. He then heard someone near him speak and looked up in that direction, not realising she was speaking to him, but he soon figured that out. He gave her a weak smile which quickly vanished into his usual cold look once more,
"tell me about it, I'll beat the living shit out of him if he takes much longer"
he sneered, getting a little frustrated, but he kept his cool. He'd had too many problems before, without another one to add to them. He kept grubby hands in his pockets as he stood with her, scarf still pulled up high,
"the name's Dan"
he told her, cold gaze fixed on her as he spoke, she looked like a pretty decent girl, unlike most he'd met. "What you here to see?" He asked, just out of interest, maybe he'd actually get to know someone so he wasn't on his own in this dump.....

"I'm Evane." She said, smiling slightly. "Yeah, I was getting ready to punch the idiot in the nuts but, I don't want to get kicked out." She quietly said, smiling slightly now before answering his question. "I'm going to see Land of the Dead. Heard it was a good movie." She said with a shrug. "I'll be the judge of that though. So...how about you Dan, which movie are you going to see?"

He smirked as he took one grubby hand from his pocket and used it to loosen up his scarf a little seeing as it was rather warm in here and the scarf wasn't helping much.
"Nice name"
He replied smoothly, laughing a little to himself at how ridiculous he probably sounded, but then again, he was an idiot when it came ot being around girls. Meanwhile, the que didn't seem to be getting much shorter as one person just left, but there were still three people left infront of him which made him very annoyed, but he didn't show it much. He then chuckled slightly at her remark about kicking the guy in the nuts, that'd show him, but he wouldn't want her to get kicked out or him. It was a bit of a coinsedence that they were going to see the same movie, but anyway,
"Same here, I just thought it sounded the most scary thing showing, but they're all just as lame as each other, personally I find them as scary as bamby most of the time..."
He answered casually, smirking once more as he spoke of them being as scary as Bamby, which was true i his opinion as he wasn't scare do anything after living on the streets for a while.
"Fancy seeing it together? That is if I get this popcorn in time anyway....."
He asked, sighing irritably about the amount of time it was taking this gay twat to serve the popcorn, Dan could've been in, seen the movie and served all these people twice in the time he was taking. Mind you that was exagerating just a tad. He finally snappe though,
"That's it, i've had it with waiting, I'll just go without"
He growled in an angry tone of voice before walking up to the counter and pushing the person at the front to the side a little, elbows leaning on the counter as he fxed the guy a cold glare.
"Thanks for nothing you son of a bitch, you should just go back home to your mum, I'm sure she's waiting to be fucked right now"
He hissed calmly, kicking the glass at the bottom with the popcorn in angrily before storming over to the cinema door, but acting pretty casual again as usual.
"Coming?"
He asked as if nothing had happened. He might actually make a friend out of this, and a rather cute one at that, but he'd stay away from that subject as most girls didn't like him once they got to know the true him. The alcoholic, smoking, drug addicted, criminal, but he was a little more than that as he was sensitive, but that didn't particularly matter as he never showed around strangers.

Evane laughed at the Bambie remark. She felt the same way as him. "Yeah, Most scary movies are lame as hell." she agreed. "We can see the movie together, that way I can share my popcorn." She said, smiling slightly. "No doubt the theatres going to be empty though. It almost always is ever since the Black Dagger Dance Club opened near it." She said as they entered the door to Theatre 4, which was showing the movie.

He chuckled a little and quickly skipped infront of her, holding the door wide open for her to walk through, "ladies first" he said politely, even though he was a bit of a rebel he was still polite around girls. He hadn't really spoken to anyone who was his own age for a while now seeing as he had been living on the streets, but it felt good to be around others again, especially Evane who seemed to be very similar to him. As he stood waiting for her to walk through he peered through into the cinema which was completely empty, looked like they'd be the only two then. Ah well, he hated people chatting away in the background, unless it was him talking to someone of course, but you know he was a little selfish like that.

"Such a gentleman." Evane said with a smile as she walked into the theatre and grabbed a seat in the middle. She liked empty Movie Theatres, it meant no crying babies and idiots talking during the movie. She hated that, of course she was always talking during a Movie sometimes as well but, still ,she hated it.

He smirked and followed her in, slunking down in the seat next to her, still smirking a little as he was in a pretty good mood right now, then again he always was around girls. He seemed a completely different guy at the moment seeing as before he'd just lived on the streets without anyone and now he was sitting here bout to watch some cheesy horror film with a stranger he'd only just met. Didn't really bother him though as you probably could guess by the way he was acting. He unbuttoned his long black coat and slung it on the back of his chair, his shirt underneath was black too with a skull on the front and the back had deaht to all written across it. Not exactly the most apealing of shirts, but he liked it all the same. He was in a bit of a teasing mood right now and that was incredibly rare for him, but anyway he sat back in his chair.
"Just remember, if you get scared then I'm always here to help you"
He teased, giving her a light wink before slouching dwn a bit more in his chair and waiting for the film to begin, his cold looking eyes wandering over to Evane as occasionally.

Evane laughed. She liked this guy, good sense of humor. "Oh yeah, if a tall fat balding killer comes on screen and chops a poor innocent woman to bits I'll bury my face in your shirt." She teased back, taking of her black Trench Coat that had a picture of a Skull with a bleeding rose in it's mouth on the back, to reveal a Black shirt with the words 'Fuck Everyone!' written across the front in Crimson letters.

He was already enjoying himself for a change and it was without having taken any drugs which was suprising seeing as he was usually a grumpy old git without them. He chuckled a little at her comment, he knew she'd never be scared like him which was a good thing seeing as they had something else in common. He liked it when he had a girlfriend before he lived out on the streets and she was rather scared so she used to cuddle up against him or hold his hand when she got scared, but he got a bit sick of that after a while anyway. His smirk broadened a little as he saw her shirt,
"Nice shirt"
He commented, looking over at her with a hint of amusement in his usually cold eyes, man he hadn't felt this good in a long time, and it showed.
"Man, I wish this film would hurry up and start"
He complained, getting a little impatient as he glanced at the screen to see a load of adverts so he turned his gaze back to Evane. Much better to look at than a load of adverts........

Evane smiled at his comment. "Thanks." She said as she turned her gaze towards the screen. An advert for Pepsi came onto the screen, followed quickly by an advert for a Chinese restaraunt. "Bloody hell, these morons are taking there damn sweet time to play that movie." She said before slowly turning her gaze back to Dan.
